No, at such high frequencies, normal techniques don't apply. RF circuitry is not for noobies. Trust me it's not easy even for trained technicians to tweak such circuits. Just buy a VHF/UHF amplifier/booster. It's cheap and handy.

If you want to make a booster you will need a lot of high quality capacitors, few chips with 25-52 legs..... It is very complicated.....

It can be made simpler, but as I said, you need a great deal of experience to deal with VHF/UHF. These things are hard to tweak even in the low end of the spectrum let alone at such high frequencies.
