48v bat charge. Help! input power is 8kw while output is only 4kw. Wheres my power going??? I'm gonna use a transformer if i cant get efficiency above 90%. Thanks

There is an easy 900w I2R lossover your 1R resistor.

What I can't work out is the config for the didoe and fet parts - the flyback diodes are not clamping well enough, so they are dissipating a big chunk of energy, plus as a second effect of this your inductors are needing extra energy to recover. Where can I find out how EC part parameters relate to what you find on a typical datasheet?

Duh, you are absolutely right, I only put 1R in the circuit for simulator to calculate current. Thank You! after doing more research I have decided to go with H-bridge topology. This would still be a fun build and i think it could be efficient. Thanks again Andy

On part param, i agree, i have struggled with fet parameters, wish they had a user manual.
