Police Lights Circuit

I need someone's assistance. I'm just getting started in electronics and I thought that I would build a Police Lights Circuit that I found online at http://www.instructables.com/id/47-projects-to-do-with-a-555/  The circuit is only half working. Can someone let me know where I went wrong? Thanks Rex

I am wondering about the connections to the transistor grouped with your blue LEDs? The base is not connected. Sincerely, Deb

I'm not sure what sequence of flashing you are after, but if you connect the presently unconnected base of the transistor on the right to the collector of the transistor just to the left, then you will get the blue lights flashing.
