Would it be possible to do the same circuit.but with a 600v AC input and a 275 DC output as compact as possible?

eatsleepweld93, i think you are referring to high voltage solid state power supply, which is welding machine a part of this subject, but I am not exactly sure how it will be built to implement with your device, however the oscillation of the limiter circuit would be bit... difficult to control into a steady 5V from that high voltage source.

You dont need to be messing with 600 volt mains. Nobody cares if you die but you don't need to be killing others.
