Accidental triangle wave generator

Shake to start. I made this when I wondered what if the CMOS inverter ring oscillator was made with BJTs instead of MOSFETs.

Interesting discovery. I actually think that this is a linear portion of a sawtooth which appears as a triangle wave and not an actual triangle wave, but it's linear enough none the less.

Yeah, something along those lines, although rather than a sawtooth I think it’s more like a square wave source with , 25% off, 25% rising edge, 25% on, and 25% falling edge. You can see that shape in all three of the transistor inverters and then those mix together making a triangle wave.

Or rather 1/6 rising edge, 1/3 on, 1/6 falling edge, and 1/3 off. Each wave is rising or falling 1/3 of the time and then three of those match up perfectly to always be either rising or falling.
