Can this repair an old lead-acid battery? I have one from UPS that lost its capacity.

Stanislav, you would have to open it and see if the lead plates are still good, if they are you would need to clean them and introduce new acid, then try a trickle charge

Yes! Its working, my car battery & A 4 Yr. non working ups battery successfully restored.

By the way, in your curcuit the source amplitude should likely be 220*sqrt(2) = 311 V, because of the rms value. For example, here we have 220 V rms, 50 Hz.
