Where is the power coming from when the switch is deactivated? Or do we assume that the NOT gate is powered from the same source?

Any gate or opamp here are given ideal voltage source that are reffered to ground even if no ground is connected and thanks to this ideality and irrational ground link they can supply continous DC curents and voltages by one wire only when hooked to another ground reffered circuit. And they are not related i any manners to external power supplies connected.
