The effects of the voltage and current sources can be considered independently. Recall that a 0 V source looks like a short circuit, and a 0 A source looks like an open circuit. Note how the voltages and currents of the two individual circuits (6.67 V and 1.33 V) add to match the total circuit (8 V).
