Perform a full ac wave rectification using a boolean or logic.

What are the diodes for? Just remove them and put the gates input direct to the ac source, anyway strange circuit.

Or how about not putting AC into a gate xD I dunno how well they like negative voltages, actually, I'll go check out how they feel about that haha

Hmmm, depends all upon the way the input stage is set up, but still doesn't look pretty lol, I'll stick to not putting AC into a logic gate :)

Negative voltages will be eaten by protection diodes to ground, if generator output impedance is high enough it wont be a problem, if to low it will destroy at least this protection and even more.
