Were you building a clipper or a clamper? Looking at the circuit I'm guessing you meant to say clamper in your description. To say it's working is not quite true though. Both types of circuits are for waveshaping - that is, waveform manipulation. Try giving it a wave to shape. Ha. Not bad though. Keep trying and have fun.
