Simple layout to create a very small lag time between two circuits connecting after an external event. In this case the event is the closing of the switch, and the two ciruits are represented by red and green leds. The real key is that I need to ensure that the green led comes on before the red. A single millisecond is plenty of time (specifically I need at least 10 microseconds, but anything more than 10 microseconds and less than 5 milliseconds is ok).
