So we have an unbalanced input which is susceptible to input noise. I'd put a balanced preamp in the guitar itself and run an XLR or TRS 6.3mm cable to the pedal/amp. Noise cancellation is important. Negative feedback only helps set the amplifier gain (which is incorrectly set here - you should not exceed line level) and decreases the noise floor in the amplifier itself.

The circuit is by @paul..., not by el puto carla, so my comments stand. It is @carla... That needs negative feedback to balance his horrible output. One can apply clever signal processing to remove noise, but its far better not to record it in the first place!
