Perhaps you are confused good sir, A 6 bit ADC would be able to represent 2^6 = 64 states. Your circuit only has 6 states. This would be less than a 3 bit ADC.

Right, its a ln(6)/ln(2)=2.58 bit ADC. To be kind we round up to 3bit!
