Low impedance PS for USB devices, require at least 7V input voltage. Good for car charger etc. Will post transistors on demand, but almost any NPN with possible power dissipation over 5W will work :)

Try substititing the 10R resistor with a capacitor to simulate a battery charge cuz your circuit is best used for phone charger

Try this, voltage will remain at 5,25V and it is fine for charger. Try measure what voltage your charger gives, 50% of them are higher than 5V :)
