Create negative DC voltage (relative to ground) from one DC source, like a battery.

Fail!

Why?

I Wanted -10 V output!

Just put 2 in series or increase input voltage

I want -Ui as output

@LeButch Help us out a bit and explain some use of negative volttage. If there is a better explanation, please do so as it is a new concept to me. I found the following on a site called. http://www.learningaboutelectronics.com/ElectricalConcepts. One example where negative voltage is used for dual supply operational amplifiers. Many times, these amplifiers deal with AC signals. Therefore, positive and negative rails need to be established; and they are established through the application of positive and negative DC voltages to the op amp. Therefore, many chips including the popular LM741 operational amplifier, makes use of negative voltage.

Thats kinda exactly what I wanted to use it for...

There is a lot to say to this circuit. But why shall i , if you start cry like a baby. We better leave it as it is "inperfect" to be kind.

You have an extra cap after the 1st output diode that I don't see in the link I posted. I'm sure there are multiple configurations for this but does yours add an additional purpose?

I actually cant find the circuit you mean... May you send it as an image please?

Aaaah, makes sence. I will update the cct

Woops, the circuit suddenly changed into the right direction, still some comfigurations to argue but interessting how original an actuall circuit have nothing equal. Woops.

Didnt you want to stop being harassing like that?
hurz

what is harassing about that. my message is, the configuration is wrong and a statement the original circuit has nothing todo with the circuit now! Didn't you want to stop seeing around you all people are harassing, haven't you promised that to us?
hurz

here we go with a proper setup, will you "STOP" this now ? Check this http://everycircuit.com/circuit/6652746198679552

But it would work like I made it, wouldnt it?
hurz

to find that out, we use simulators as close as possible in configuration to reality
hurz

but we do not expect such a chaotic voltage rampup. We also do not expect 491Hz this we can already precalculate with Ra Rb and C 10kOhm 10kOhm and 10nF

Yeah, its around 4.5kHz. But if it works, I will build it tomorrow.

I recommend increase 10nF cap at the output of the 555 to 100nF and also add a 100ohm resistor in series with the output of the 555 to make it run smoother, as well as slowing down the simulation to an appropriate speed.

looks like @jason9 you are still not able to follow links, which makes it impossible for you to follow correctly thread, otherwise you wont tell as this.

Sadly, his vendetta against LeButch has numbed his rationale...😬

Thanks for your help, Jason, but I simulate this circuit here to build it later, so I made it as it would be built, not for a smooth simulation.

@wyoelk, read first, then ask! One circuit is more then 1000 words, but you must open the link, if you are not able to follow links, you better do not use everycircuit.

@wyoelk, your link is almost perfect and my one is an add on, cuz this external one is still not on everycircuit and has its weak points. Anyway, my critic is going to @jason9 hes not reading your link and my as well. So i know he is still using an iPhone and again and again it looks respectless if he starts all over and it looks we are idiots. He just ignores what we have already posted.

this slow start is a tacktick i do for potential frauds to see what they know or not know, just give them a finished solution would be tooooöoo easy. BTW, "wooops" is a LeButch creation if he correct horrible errors in his "awesome" circuits he just say "woooops i just forget that little unimportante point" even its a big thing! thats just funny.

@ giantjasone. Is acting like a 13 year old., a great 13 year old whi isn't 13 any more.(i say).

The good thing is, that this is not a platform where anyone takes damage if you do something wrong. Why would i not just say "whoops" if I did something wrong?
hurz

"woops" equal "sorry I was wrong" ? I see this different.

Iy's ok if you have your own goat.. "i" think perhaps the support of your family did you more good than the goat milk.

@wyoelk like "i" stay off that goat milk for a while pops., so remember the comments you delete

Oh I know what my comment said and as you obviously don't, try some goats milk for a memory booster. I am deleting all comments at the request of a whiner aboout the slow cloud. Do you know that person?

@robert_kidd if your sick client hadn't said vulgarity against my parrnts, i would let go. Using voulgar words agsinst me presosnlly is one thing, but agsinst my parents and family no never forgiven. If uou can not understand that,, then you are not human beings,,,,,,
