LED voltage divider. Nothing earth-shattering here. Just an experient to show an alternative to a resistor based voltage divider. You can see; following the 12 voult DC source. Because of the 3 volt forward voltage requirement of the LED's to operate, the voltage drops are in increments of 3 volts, so 9, 6 and 3 volts. This leaves 3 volts unaccounted for. 12-9=3. 20 milliamps is typical of a white LED current demand. The 150 ohm resister is there to limit the current overall or you will burn out the LED's. So, usimg Ohms Law- 3รท.02=150 ohms. This circuit also shows that, despite how many LED's are used, the overall current is only 20 milliamps.Yay!
