OpAmp 5v regulated using mosfet

Using mosfet and the OpAmp to get stable 5v with hight amperage... If you need more than 1A a heatsink is required

Few things: you don't need the 1mF and 470uF caps. They make no difference in EC. And if you do want to use some output capacitance, it's usually in the order of 100nF to 10uF for linear regulators.

Regarding the heatsink, you would need one if the output current exceeds around 100mA as the power dissipation would exceed 1W beyond that current

And to prevent your simulation from throwing a CFS error, use a switch.

@PrathikP, why did you added 100k resistor from source to the output of the opamp? Mosfet don't need biasing?! For the heat you are right...
