Working on something

I was thinking of making a HV regulator for my tube projects, but I'm in serious lack of isolation transformers, plus they're not as common nowadays as they have been in the past, so the circuit here is a quick workaround. Alternatively you can skip it altogether by tying two 12V transformers back to back (secondary-secondary), but I have a spare 20V/6A laptop charger laying around, thought I'd utilize it.

Needs some luck to run it long enough within everycircuit without damn CFS. Guess the mosfets are modeled close to something like irf540 what i can see from its properties? The digital control needs some extra signaling cuz its a bridge. A simple PWM wouldn't be enough to control voltage. Without bridge it would be easier with a simple PWM. Anyway, it does work with some simulation luck 👍

Yep, IRF540 is what I was thinking of. Seem good enough for the job.

Also, what do you mean about the bridge thingie 😂

try to control the output voltage by PWM, does not work. It needs a special PWM

Oh yeah, tried that already. Doesn't works. Maybe PAM, but that's not efficient...

Or maybe still 50Hz, but with deadtime control?
