8V battery doesn't have any effect on the current that passes in 1Kohm resistor, no matter how much it will increase the voltage. Connecting the circuit to different grounds leads to different voltages. If i didn't know KCL i would have said that 8V battery will affect the current in 1Kohm resistor..

Unlike real life, in EC you cannot put voltage sources directly in parallel. EC voltage sources are ‘ideal’ which means they are modelled without any output impedance. If you add a very small resistance, say 0.001 Ohms, in series with one of the sources the circuit will work as expected.

You’ll note that if you do this you no longer get the error. However, your current is now 2000 Amps! Again, these are perfect sources so will supply unreal amounts of current.

Are you saying to put a current between the two positive of the batteries? I tried to put the resistor in series between the two batteries, but no matter how much i raise the voltage of the second battery, the current in the 1kOhm resistor will remain the same. I don't know if I corrected the circuit as you intended.
