Battery Circuits

Discharge circuit has batteries in series to meet voltage requirements - ("lamp's"). Charging is done in parallel. Seems logical. Is there a most efficient way to combine the two circuits so that (1) charging and discharging can occur at the same time and if this simple enough to be feasible or what ever there would not be any other requirements. I'm in a learn g mode so I look forward to your comments! Regards, Enya

BTW Motors were used instead of the batteries being charged for the second circiut. (Think 'motor generator'.)
