Start with DC bias of a bjt then look into bjt small signal model.

I'm just getting back into electronics after 20 years so Im sorry if Im completely off base. It looks like you are converting an ac signal to a dc pwm signal. Am I mistaken about that?

Not PWM, but square wave, they're easy to confuse sometimes. Follow what crake says. I'll upload some sort of guide on NPN Common Emitter amplifiers

Please do! I built a couple of car audio amps when I was in highschool but that was many many moons ago and Ive forgotten almost everything.

Google is failing me, trying to look up the differerence between pwm and a square wave. Wikipedia is saying that a square wave is a type of pulse wave, but pulse waves can come in other flavors as well. So, I must he dense because Im not understanding the difference

@caveman42.. From one cavenan ti another. I think. Pulse as the name suggests is only one. But square wave is pulse train,, and pwm. Is a cct. That enable you to change the on and off ratio of a square wave without changing the frequency.. Btw i don't accept ressponsibility fir the correctness of what i have told you. Check it out.
