Capacitor Charge Redistribution

Charge redistributes between the 2 capacitor when they are shorted together.

Larger cap looses charge faster than the source can provide.

Smaller cap gets charge faster than its source can remove.

Reducing resistances will damp out the ripples in the cap voltages.
