A boost converter powered by the 12V battery of the scooter used to increase the charging voltage of the discharge capacitor in a CDI module. The comparators makes sure the boost is enabled only when the alternator is actually charging the capacitor, up to 300V. This circuit makes the spark power constant up to high RPMs.
