How the voltage selection switch works on older power supplies

The left switch selects the mains voltage, the right switch sets the mode. 

Left switch:
Left source: 240v 50Hz
Right source: 120v 60Hz

Right switch:
Open: Full wave bridge rectifier
Closed: Voltage doubler

Warning: This circuit has potential to freeze the app if you change the switches while running it.
