Useful for half-bridge circuits to enable/disable the inverter without disconnecting the power. Update: I actually built this using 74LS series logic and some trimmers for fine adjustment of dead time and it works! Best to use a 5k trimmer for 0 ~ 2 microseconds dead time, 10k for a bit more at the expense of coarser adjustment. Using it to control a 5kW induction heater.
