2 stage vs single stage voltage regulator

The 2 stage regulator output is more precise and handles higher input voltages well.

But the single stage is smaller, cheaper and has less of a drop with lower input voltages.

It doesn't need to, it's just where the voltages were left after I'd been playing around with them.
