A passive high pass filter
decrease the frequency across the source voltage and the output voltage will eventually die out
A passive high pass filter only allows or passes signal with frequencies above a specified value and blocks the frequencies below it
The frequency below which the the signal is blocked/output voltage is zero is called cut off frequency, Wc, but only in ideal cases the frequency below Wc is totaly blocked, i.e. the output is ideally zero below it. But, In pratical cases the output voltage gradually decreases and eventually becomes very low compared to input voltage
