Transistor latch circuit

Simple NPN PNP transistor latch circuit. Once voltage is applied to the base of the NPN transistor, current flows through the circuit with both switches in the open possition untill the base of the NPN transistor is pulled to ground by the bottom switch.

Nice useful schematic ... could perhaps increase the value of some of the resistors to save on the battery a little if used for long periods
