The top two switches on the left are for the first number to multiply, the top is the 1s and the bottom is the 2s. The bottom two switches on the left are the second number, again the top one is for the 1s and the bottom for the 2s. The maximum it can calculate is 3x3. 

The outputs are in order from lowest to highest, starting with 1s at the top and 8s at the bottom.
