current through the primary is detected by the source resistor, then phase shifted slightly and fed to the comparator.

select values for the voltage divider to determine the On time; when the voltage from the source resistor reaches this value, the comparator will output low.

select the value of the coupling capacitor between the input and the voltage divider to determine the on time.

it probably won't work; capacitance on the mosfet will be a big problem, as will noise coming from everywhere. I'll build it one day and see how it goes.
