Why can the DC current pass through the capacitor? The illustration should be showing the current alternate through the capacitor. I just installed this app, so I maybe miss something. Good circuit, thanks.

@Yujinaka, I'll mention to you the same thing I do pretty much everyone, select the Examples tab and read through it. This particular circuit is there.

@synotic if you get an x through the lamp in EC you blew out the bulb. Put a resistor in series with the capacitor and play with different common values, 100, 220, 330, 470, etc and observe the delay change in capacitive discharge
