universal 4-bit shift/storage register with serial in, serial out, parallel in, parallel out.
The LED's indicate the parallel output.
The Output at the bottom Q is serial out.
Only one of the 4 bottom switches can be high at once for the logic to work! I couldn't make a 2-bit s0-s1 selector because of space and port limitations.
Logic Switches:
top left = Serial Input for down shift
4 Middle-left = Parallel input
Bottom left = Serial input for up shift
Top right = Clock pulse
The 4 select switches at the bottom are (from left to right):
1 Hold
2 Shift Down
3 Shift up
4 Parallel Load
