Also, put a ground to negative, positive, or both(between the coils). The resistor connects to the negative side of the diodes(positive to negative) instead of between coils. The capacitor needs to be in the circuit to smooth the rippled DC to actual DC, so connect it in parallel to resistor(positive to negative).
