Filters and offsets the PWM from the Arduino analogWrite function. I used this to connect an Arduino to an analog synthesizer. I used the Arduino as a sequencer. Connect the PWM output from the Arduino in place of the pulse generator. Connect a digital output to the logic input. connect the free end of the 100 ohm resistor to the VCO.
