Bidirectional Motor reversal mechanism. Change the DPST switch to make the motor go forward motoring mode or reverse motoring mode.

Using biasing resistors increases the time it takes to get up to speed, This is more than compensated by decreasing the base current of the bottom transistor from 45A to about 15mA, and surprisingly, more than doubles the final motor speed. http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5465364182073344

Adjusted the bottom biasing resistor to 3k, speeds up the ramp up a bit and the base current only maxes out at 75mA.
