Voltage and Current Divider Circuits

This simulation demonstrates the nature of dividing voltages and current. Feel free to adjust the resistor values to see how charges flow or how voltage is stored.

You may notice as you increase one resistor value in the voltage divider circuit, it will increase the voltage across this resistor and even could make the other resistors negligible.

Similar to the voltage circuit, try to increase the resistance on one branch. As you increase this resistance, it will decrease the current through it and increase the current through the other resistor.
