This is early Automatic Telescoping Antenna for car or boat two way communication. Shown in antenna extended mode. Starting at left, capacitor is tapped spark plug to send air pressure through (not shown, accumulator valve and expansion ring) to storage tank, where open SPST switch is, and past the pressure limiting valve (diode) and into dash inside of car where hand valve SPDT and an air switch light the ruby colored lamp indicating that antenna is extended. The SPDT is air line valve that sends air pressure through copper tubing to bottom cylinder tube of vertical antenna to extend the upper half section of antenna to rise upward. To lower antenna, Switch SPDT to bottom position and exhaust pressure under car hood.
