Analog to 5 bit

Hmmm i will personally use a switching diode matrice. They are pack for about 10 or 20 diodes in single small IC. Set proper connections and bias and achieve almost similar result. Ofcoz it will be a passive network so created quantized digital signal will draw required power directly from analog signal, but such process is so little power demanding that even weak input will perform digital signal output without problem. I,m not saying this is bad design. But i always complain about using too much for too little. A 5 operating amplifiers used for such tiny thing is like call for panzer squad to eliminate bunch of nasty wasps whose nested in ur small garden around home and terrorize by doing bzzzzzz anyone in nest vicinity.

I see what your talking about. It does digitize the signal by going through the Op amps, but it sure does suck the amperage down.You are right, though. Thanks!

It work better with transistors, because it has to amplify to get to the LEDs.
