I can't figure out the math needed to modify the transistors to make this circuit work right. This is from eeevblog's video.

Timestep to 10ms, inductor to 1mH and shake to start. Not much to see btw.

Yeah you needn't modify the transistor but the inductor. The higher the inductance the more power it can store the more energy it'll feed the load. That's the basic rule.
