I made a normally open (NO) solid state switch with two IRF3205 (2x8mR) and two 2N2222. I connected it as a common source. In this way, there is reverse current protection. The simulation in EveryCircuit isn't very good. I suggest you try it in Proteus. You can use optocoupler to completely isolate the circuit.
