Just a very simple circuit of a start/stop circuit with a relay. A NO switch, in series with a NC switch. The VDC+ is connected to the C contact of the relay. The NO contact of the relay is connected in series with the NC switch (parallel to the NO switch). 2 LED's are connected on the NC and NO contact of the relay. Red on the NC contact, and green on the NO contact. Just tap the NO switch once, the relay acts fast, so it switches immediately. The NO contact of the relay takes over the function of the NO switch and the relay stays on untill the NC switch is tapped. The red LED emits light when the circuit is off. The green LED emits light when the circuit is on.
