This oscillator should not work

this oscillator I made when I was a child basically messing around with 2 NOT Gates and a capacitor in hopes to make an oscillator, and I did somehow. but you can clearly see from my diagram it should not work especially that it uses a 1000uf polarized capacitor, The thing is it doesn't even fully work in EveryCircuit! as I can't even power an LED with this because it apparently breaks it? The thing is I'm holding the actual circuit in my hand and it works it could also power an LED so I have no idea why it doesn't do it in this app, more importantly I have no idea how this works. The transistors aren't even oriented properly but that doesn't matter I somehow created a abomination! I believe it should work with a regular capacitor in IRL but I'm not sure of that because I can't test it in here as it doesn't even fully work in the app. But trust me this is an actual functional working circuit and if anybody ask I can upload a video of the circuit working, please can anybody explain how this thing works?
