Demonstration of resonance in a series RLC circuit. R is set to a very low value. L is 1 H, C is 1 uF. So, the resonance frequency is 1/(2*pi*sqrt(L*C)) = 159 Hz approximately. When the input frequency is 159 Hz (very close to the resonance frequency) and the input voltage amplitude is 1V, output amplitude (voltage over the capacitor) is close to 200V. Try increasing R. (This corresponds to increasing friction in a mechanical system)
