Without any sort of smoothing or voltage regulation, that is the shape a rectifier puts out. It doesn't help that your voltage source is 1V @ 1KHz. Try 50-60Hz for something more realistic. Then set the voltage amplitude to whatever you like. Mains voltage...whatever. Then to smooth it out, the easiest option is a capacitor in parallel with your load. There's a formula to calculate your ripple % and all that, but we won't get into that. Just start with 100uF and see how that looks.

Rbrtkurtz is right, I usually use 120v, 60Hz, I live where every wall outlet is 120v @ 60Hz. I'm used to it.
