5v and 3.3v rails for testing with the RPi, with a 12v (1.8amp) source from the wall.

A quick look showed a fair bit of current in the biasing voltage divider, also final voltage varied with power supply and or output load changes. After checking out many possibilities, I would recommend that you get a couple of three terminal voltage regulators, it would be cheaper you end up better off.

Good points! I actually forgot that I had those, and so will definitely be using them (have both 3.3v and 5v regulators :) ). Thanks!
