This is cool. Are those switches NC sensors?

You can replace these switches with electrodes to perform as water level sensors.

Thats awesome. I wanted to make sonething like this for my dog waterbowl. It has a pump to keep the water moving but it doesnt shut off if the water level gets low.

Cool circuit. Your above comment finally helped me to understand what I was looking at. The switches are sensors! A lot of functions from one 555 timer!

There is one switch at left hand side is ground tank water level detector sensor and if there is no water in ground tank, water pump will not run. Other two switches at the top are upper tank low and maximum water level detector sensors and if water level in upper tank less than lower level sensor, pump will run and it's will stop when water level reach to maximum level sensor.
