I think it's the tank at the base of the transistor, and is fed through the miller capacitor

That's what I was thinking, anything else seems implausible. The miller Capacitance is usually related to high frequency negative feedback, but the LC circuit must be phase shifting the input somewhat.

Could it be the voltage divider on the Supply line feeding the coil at the transistor and the coils at the top with diode making a feedback loop.
