Replace lamp with a dc motor. I need your suggestions on this one.  This will be my project and I still don't know the best value of each parts specially the transistor. I will only use this with a 5v supply.

There is too much base current, change the base resistors to 100k, if you simplify your circuits, little improvements become more visible. Here is yours with a couple of small changes. http://everycircuit.com/circuit/6226216294285312
