Just another spam account ruining the EC community, just like the ones that post the same textbook circuits publicly 10 times in a 15 minute window. It's like people don't realize you can save unlisted and private circuits and decide to just push useless crap to the community and drown out actually useful or interesting circuits. Been an issue on this platform for over 10 years at this point

Well, sure, Jake, but we need to remember that a lot of people on this platform aren’t very experienced in electronics as, say, you or me. And if they are looking for help, they are not likely to search for it from people who have (repeatedly) posted criticism that was more derogatory than constructive. This exact issue was a major contribution to the comment war on this platform, and I personally think that while it is better for spam circuits to be left unlisted, harassment will not make the situation better.

And please know that I am not trying to cause any trouble by expressing how I feel about this situation. I just want to see the new EveryCircuit users grow in their knowledge of electronics, while the moderation team works on keeping the platform environment safe. I would say derogatory criticism is what drives people to other circuit simulator formats. Because if anything it shows an unwelcoming behavior in the community. I've experienced derogatory criticism just from the descriptions of my circuits and not because of their originality or function simply because sometimes I'll use an AI to highlight functional aspects then correct and fill in the details.
