i am using that kind of circuit with potenciometer on Dis and Thr. To manualy control time of the signal. :-) .... and why you use 1mF capacitor? I thnk better is to use higher resistor and 10uF capacitor max.... because of its size :-)

the resistors and capacitors are proportional according to RC filter, influencing the frequency
